Common Misconceptions About Applying To Gemography

Misconception: I need to speak fluent English.

We frequently offer job roles that require no fluency in English. Also we're happy to conduct interviews in either French or English.


Misconception: I need to have a master's degree in CS.

Most job roles we offer have no minimum requirements on degrees or education.


Misconception: I can't apply more than once.

Some of the best software engineers who got job offers at Gemography are second-time applicants. With that being said, we find that applicants reapplying are most successful when they've added at least 90 days of experience.


Misconception: I'm not familiar with the technologies mentioned in the job description

You're encouraged to apply even if you're not familiar with a framework or programming language listed in the job description. During interviews, we'll focus mostly on the technologies you're already familiar with.


Misconception: I’ll never get in.
